Thinking About My Art

Placing my art on this blog is not the easiest thing to do. It causes me to consider the quality of each piece. I would most likely be the first to say that is not so good or I like that one. It has taken me years to even get to the point that states, "I've done it . . . its my art work . . . I am happy with the result."

Many individuals give up before they begin. It is my desire to work through the process of creating not for others but because I must stir up the gift that is in me. In order to be an artist one must do art . . . saying you are an artist and not doing art is like being a musician and never sitting long enough to play the instrument.

Another challenge is doing hundreds of paintings and never showing them to anyone. What good is that. Today I begin to show my art. I have gone back to my June and July blogs and added the paintings that go with the pictures. Check them out and make a comment. Thank you for your assistance.
