We started out this morning from Sioux Falls, South Dakota a little later than usual and immediately saw Buffalo grazing next to the freeway. South Dakota is an amazingly beautiful state. The long grass was green and full of yellow flowers. The roads were fairly empty and easy to drive. We visited Mt. Rushmore, Crazyhorse and Wall Drugs. My camera was busy all day snapping pictures of the magnificent scenery. South Dakota has had its share of forrest fires and fortunately this year extra rain. The temperatures have been in the 80's with gently breezes. As we drove across Wyoming we saw antelope eating next to the cattle. Another long day but worth every effort as we continue our journey home.
