Pineapple

Today I worked on painting a pineapple. Pineapples have  so many colors and numerous shapes all attached together. The crown on my pineapple was larger than the fruit area. I still have a few more things to add to my pineapple to make it right but as we know art is a process even when painting a pineapple. Pineapples I have learned were given as hospitality gifts. I love to think of  the pineapple as another way to say, "Aloha". 

July 17th, I added the pineapple painting/drawing to the blog. I learned how to scan an image and add it to my other pictures. The pineapple began in Hawaii as a watercolor but when I got it home I added colored pencils to get just the right effect.
